Sadly, W/O August 2, 1985 at DFW with Delta Air Lines as N726DA while operating flight 191 FLL-DFW. Aircraft encountered microburst on approach to runway 17, and struck highway & water tanks 6,300 feet from runway with 143 of 163 fatalities + 1 on ground - r.i.p.

Note Continental Airlines DC-10 on taxiway Bravo with red meatball on tail.

N726DA (cn 193C-1163) This aircraft was w/o on August 2nd 1985 when it crashed on approach to Dallas-Ft. Worth (DFW). The flight encountered a microburst with severe wind shear, causing the aircraft to hit the ground about a mile from the runway. 135 of the 163 persons on board were killed.
