This aircraft crashed at LHR on the 17th January 2008 and became the first triple seven to be involved in a serious incident. G-YMMM (cn 30314/342) G-YMMM (operating flight BA038 from Beijing) made a crash landing at runway 27L, Heathrow today. The aircraft came to a halt at the runway holding point after touching down 300 meters+ short of the landing zone. Note the rudder is used on final, prahaps a sign of crosswind? |
