N1796B (cn 31169/4444) 737NG number 4444. Note that the fuselage still says "polished" on it, a regular feature of unpainted AA 737s before the 2013 livery. |

N5023Q (cn 37562/1429) About to take to the skies on a test flight, this airplane was delivered to Saudia nine days later as HZ-AI3, the first 747-8F for the carrier. With that delivery, Saudia also became the only carrier to have operated all forms of the 747: -100, -200, -300, -400, -SP, and now, -8. A landmark day! |

9M-LNB (cn 38728/4350) Originally built for Lion Air, this airplane is seen kicking up water after returning from a rainy-day test flight as 9M-LNB, destined for Lion Air subsidiary Malindo Air. A little over a month after delivery, on Mar. 20, 2013, it was transferred to Lion Air as PK-LKS, but sadly after just three weeks in service, it was written off at Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali on April 13. Happily, all passengers and crew survived. |
