RA-77114 (cn 08-2) At MAKC 2001 Air Show. Sorry for the grainy photo, but they wouldn't let us near the airplane and this is the best I could do with zoom. The Tu-144LL took to the air for the first time on 29 November, 1996. Its high-speed flight test program held during '96/'97. Powered by four NK-321 25,000kgf engines. This was the last Tu-144D built before being converted to the first Tu-144LL. Notice the US flag on the tail. |
