79-1947 (cn 48207/375) Inside the cargo area of the classic KC-10 which was temporarily grounded due to the anti-skid failure. This part of the plane was relatively empty as this flight's purpose was to return our proud servicemen and women back to their home base after the 2010 Department of Defense Airlift/Tanker Association Convention. Special thanks to all of the men and women of the United States Air Force for giving me the opportunity to tour the aircraft. |

N2397C (cn 2843696) Piper debuted their brand new Archer LX during Sun 'n Fun 2011, however instead of grabbing attention for its new Garmin G500 avionics, it sat cordoned off due to evident wing and fuselage damage from a tornado which struck the show two days prior. |

One of many aircraft showcased by Eurocopter during Heli-Expo 2011 today was the EC-175. Configured with multiple passenger rows, is believed to be aimed to attract companies performing off-shore work, in direct competition to the AgustaWestland AW139. Like the newly unveiled AS350 B3e, certification is expected later this year. |

79-1947 (cn 48207/375) This classic KC-10 was one of many U.S. Air Force aircraft flown in to take troops back to their home bases after the 2010 Department of Defense Airlift/Tanker Association Convention. This particular plane had already taxied out for departure earlier in the day but had to come right back due to an anti-skid failure, setting forth a chain of events which led to getting a tour of the plane! Special thanks to all of the men and women of the United States Air Force for this special opportunity. |

N8978E / 9995 (cn 47327/391) After over four decades of passenger service, the classic Diesel 9s which were acquired by Delta during the Northwest merger are now being rapidly retired. A majority of the series 30 aircraft are bunched together up and down the tarmac, most with the engines and other parts already removed. Indeed it is a sad sight. |

N200EE (cn 083) This classic One-Eleven is sitting on the tarmac next to its older sister, N200JX. Despite both being over 40 years old, the planes appear to be in pristine condition, having been utilized over the past few years for various luxury and VIP charter flights. I'm glad to have been given the opportunity to see these aircraft in person. |
