N561JB (cn 1927) "La Vie en Blue" is the first aircraft to wear JetBlue's new livery with a larger JetBlue logo and the new Blueberry tail design. I took this photo just a couple hours after this evening's unveiling ceremony, in the Live TV hangar. Thanks to everyone there for making this such a great evening. |

G-BNLS (cn 24629/841) One of my biggest dreams has finally come true on this day, as I have gotten to step aboard a 747 for the very first time. A big thanks to the flight crew for the great privilege. |

G-BNLS (cn 24629/841) Taken inside the cabin of the 747, this picture is a tribute to the great dedication, caring, and kindness of all of the people that make the DreamFlight happen, bringing joy to the lives of those who deserve it most. This is what it is all about... |

N500VP (cn 22062/640) Inside the luxurious cabin of the classic 737 as it sits on the tarmac during NBAA 2009. When you look at this cabin the way it is now, it can be hard to believe that this plane was once an ordinary passenger shuttle! |

79-1947 (cn 48207/375) This classic KC-10 was one of many U.S. Air Force aircraft flown in to take troops back to their home bases after the 2010 Department of Defense Airlift/Tanker Association Convention. This particular plane had already taxied out for departure earlier in the day but had to come right back due to an anti-skid failure, setting forth a chain of events which led to getting a tour of the plane! Special thanks to all of the men and women of the United States Air Force for this special opportunity. |

F-GFKK (cn 100) This is what is referred to as the scrap line here at Sanford. The Air France A320 had been flown in just two days before I took this picture, and it is the first Airbus that would be scrapped here. Two former Northwest 757s, N509US and N512US, sat behind it. |

A9C-LC (cn 040) Taxiing in after what may have been this aircraft's final landing, this A340 is the biggest aircraft to come to Sanford in quite some time. Unfortunately, its destination here would not be the passenger terminal, but the scrap line. |

N512US / 5512 (cn 23200/82) This would be the last time that a photo would be taken in the cockpit of this 757. Many of the components, including the gauges, seats, and windows, have already been removed so that they could be reused as spares for other aircraft, as this one would never take to the skies again. Special thanks to Eliu and the Avocet crew for the privilege and for teaching me about the scrapping process. |

N8978E / 9995 (cn 47327/391) After over four decades of passenger service, the classic Diesel 9s which were acquired by Delta during the Northwest merger are now being rapidly retired. A majority of the series 30 aircraft are bunched together up and down the tarmac, most with the engines and other parts already removed. Indeed it is a sad sight. |
