PK-GSA (cn 22246/452) On 9/10/1988, this GA B742 was damaged at Don Muang. Whilst taxiing into the gate, the brakes failed (other reports indicated that the pilot failed to stop) and the aircraft didn't stop, ploughing into the terminal by 2 metres and injuring 3 pax. It is pictured here 6 days after the incident being towed for repairs, with the damaged nose covered to prevent any embarrassment. However, they forgot to cover the engines and the wing, which obviously hit the airbridge. A rare catch for me [Kodak Print] |

VH-OJU (cn 25566/1239) I had just finished photographing the final arrival of the Singapore Airlines passenger B747 into Changi, and thought I would try one last shot in almost total darkness......was very happy with the result! [Nikon D3] |

(cn 23350/623) This is the former 9V-JEB, which was dbr 17-12-2009 at SIN after an uncontained engine failure. It seems as though this frame has been converted into a fire trainer, but has yet to be put into use. Named "Green Phoenix" and also given a tail logo....I wonder what will happen next to this frame [Nikon D800] |

An overview of Kai Tak taken by my late Father, probably in the late 1940s. Kai Tak looked a lot different than it does today, as does Kowloon. Seems like the IGS was not such a challenge for pilots in those days! |

9V-SGC (cn 478) It is very rare that one can get this type of photo. I was on a photography assignment when a huge storm swept into Changi Airport. Normally in these weather conditions it is time to pack up and head home. But when you are on assignment, you have to wait it out. Suddenly out of the pouring rain came SQ22 bound for EWR with the rain bucketing down! I clcked, and here is the result. What a moment! [Nikon D800] |

9V-SKN (cn 071) Upper deck Business Class, enroute SIN-ZRH. This rather new A380 is part of the latest fleet of SQ A380s configured differently from the earlier ones. The whole upper deck is business class, hence the econonmy class passengers are restricted to the lower deck (main cabin), no going upstairs! These aircraft are mainly used for SIN-ZRH-SIN and SIN-SYD (plus HKG) due to high business class traffic loads. This section is the rear of the upper deck and would have normally had economy class seating [Nikon D3] |
