G-OBME (cn 23867/1603) Jan 8th 2004 saw the 15th anniversary of this accident and it is therefore perhaps an appropriate time to upload this shot in memory of those who lost their lives and in tribute to the numerous people who were there helping on the night - emergency services, airport staff and members of the general public. This shot was taken two days later when teams had arrived to take the wreckage away to the AAIB at Farnborough. |

TC-ALM (cn 20431/851) . . . solution - get a dozen engineers to climb in the back door, form a line and walk slowly towards the front of the aircraft which slowly lowers itself back on to its nosewheel !! This aircraft is now a cabin evacuation trainer on the fire-training ground at EMA. |

I challenge anyone to count the aircraft on this photo !! A good overview of what to expect at DM on your first visit - overwhelming. Visible are T38s, O2s, A4s, A3s, F4s, B52s, C130s, KC135s and P3s amongst others. Also "Celebrity Row" is clearly visible in the distance. |

156627 (cn 316-20) Nice to see the US Navy ditching the low viz schemes on its carrier-borne aircraft for something a little more colourful !!! This A-5 is preserved in the barracks area on the hill at Subic Bay - its identity 'RP-2000' is false - and presumably a remnant of the days when Subic was a US Navy base. Looks as though the anti-nuclear "flower power" children have been at work !! |

HS-TAK (cn 566) At last - somewhere to rival St.Maarten-Princess Juliana !!! About to touch down on Rwy 09 at Phuket, the end of the runway is less than 100 yds from the beach. Spotting paradise found and not a soul in sight for miles !!! |

PT-ZVE (cn 123801) CBA stands for "Co-Operation Brazil Argentina" - the plane was developed 70% by Brazil, 30% by Argentina. The aircraft no longer exists as only two pototypes were built and they were scrapped in favour of the EMB-145. With hindsight a very wise move by Embraer!! (many thanks to Denny at Embraer for the update) |

One of the most beautiful passenger terminals in the world. It forms one segment of a huge "circle", 90% of which is below ground. Shame the weather couldn't match the quality of the terminal design !! |
