C-FBCN (cn BB-7) I've always loved the stripes on this King's props & now its wearing a brand new paint scheme that looks cool. It was built in 1974 & has flown on some pretty long trips such as its flight to Tel Aviv, Israel as seen in another shot.

18626 (cn 526) During previous attemps to get a nice shot of this Canuck the sky was always dark with overcast. This time it was perfect as this 414 Black Knight squadron fighter jet was surrounded by North Bay's annual Festival in Lee Park. A total of 692 CF-100's were built & the first were delivered to the RCAF Operational Training Unit in North Bay in July 1952.

CF-EKT (cn 15073385) Sunshine flooded this hangar's entrance as its large door opened to reveal some nice planes. This little Cessna was built in 1972 & looked good & ready as it peered outside. I love the quite atmosphere & smells in big wartime hangars.

C-FKJV (cn 108-4841) This old Stinson was nestled between docks on the West branch of the Holland River near the small town of Bradford. Its floats rested on wooden planks & were free of stains from that thick green algae. It was built in 1948 & flies off this river in the quiet farmland.

C-GVDH (cn 28-8316041) This Cherokee was visiting from Alberta where it once flew for the Calgary Flying Club. The club's emblem is still on the tail but the titles have been removed from the body as seen in other photos. It was built in 1983 & its burgundy nose looked rich in the sun.

C-GGWM (cn 507) A few years went by since I last saw this plane & I smiled as it floated past for a landing on rwy 33. It was built in 1972 & its weathered paint has some neat looking patterns in it. Perhaps it's been sanded a bit & will get a fresh coat some day.

C-IEWU (cn 20050405) This little Sportstar looked good as it sat waiting on a windy taxiway. Its pilots had jumped out & gone for a walk to retrieve a foreign object from runway 26 that's seen behind it. A much different scene from my last shot of this plane at this really cool airport.

C-GGAS (cn 1489) It was fun watching this JetRanger fly around the airport as the pilots practiced landing on the grass & paved runway. It was built in 1974 & is based here. After its flight it looked cool on the pad with its gorgeous paint scheme as its dolly wheels were attached.

C-GBJV (cn 237) This cool looking Air Ambulance plane was taxiing to the Terminal where 3 other PC-12's were already parked. It was starting to look like a Pilatus "Fly In". It was built in 1998, is based at the Muskoka Airport (CYQA) up North & used to fly for Bearskin Airlines.

C-FZYL (cn 003) This Republic RC-3 Seabee was looking great as it rested beside its home hangar where it's had major modifications done. It has a new 350 H.P. V8 engine as well as a beautiful new instrument panel with a 10.4 inch Odyssey flat panel display by MGL Avionics. With these mods it's now legally listed with a new name, serial number & year of manufacture. I'm sure I'll catch it flying some day.
