It offers lie flat beds which although allot more comfortable than the old seats, do not offer much personal space when reclined and have unnessesarily complicated seat position controls. N791AN / 7AY (cn 30254/289) American Airlines flight 1945 MIA-DFW as we approached DFW after a short flight from Miami we were told Dallas Fort Worth was closed due to heavy rain, strong winds, and low visibility. This view is moments prior to entering a violent storm cell which shook our 777 around like a tin can, opening overhead bins and periodically initiating the emergency oxygen masks to drop down. Some nice hail damage also visable on the wing here. Taken from seat 10F Business Class. |

A6-ERC (cn 485) The third and final row of First Class Suites on our A340-500 today. With just two out of the possible twelve seats taken we were able to move freely around our cabin and enjoy the perks each seat had to offer. Suffice to say by the time we had done this and finished our seven course banquette, there was not much of the flight left! |

VH-OED (cn 25126/858) Qantas arrives into Sydney rolling out long on the active with a horde of emergency vehicles chasing her down the runway. Sources indicate: 45 minutes out of Sydney a loud cracking and banging sound was audible from the roof area of aircraft with dust being emitted. The area in question was the sliver strip notable on the fuselage of the aircraft. A fear of structural failure was noted and the aircraft was turned around with emergency procedures being initiated for its landing back in Sydney. |

After climbing out and making a couple of right hand turns we climb out over Ayers Rock airport with the Ayers Rock resort complex visible.
