PH-AOD / OD-504 (cn 738) How about this for a view, the huge wing of a KLM A330 looking down on to the Thames. We are on the approach to 27R having just flown over a clear Eastern England. It was at this point that the thick fog over London came into view, and we landed 5 minutes later in 200m vis. All the usual landmarks are down there, the Eye, Gherkin, Tower Bridge etc [400D] |

A very enjoyable ride in to RWY27 at London City as seen from the front of a Citation XL. Many of London's landmarks can be seen, including Canary Wharf, the Millennium Dome and the 'Gherkin'. The terminal is fairly full ready for the evening rush, and there's a Cityjet RJ100 at the holding point [400D + Canon 18-55] |
