NC58729 (cn 1277) Remarks by owner Jason Ball: "Manufactured in 1941 for the USAAF, s/n 41-15248. Continental 220 adapted "Superryan", ...there were three S-T-3KR's modified like mine, one crashed and was scrapped, one did not get the hull shortened after the Continental 220 installation and then was later changed to a Menasco." |

43-22288 (cn 18436) This photo was taken in the summer of 1961 at Shepard Air Force Base, Wichita Falls, Texas. Me and my buddies went there for a model airplane meet and saw this field that had several old World War II planes wasting away in the weeds. Back in 1961 there was always old WWII relics at most all airports across the country, who would ever guess they would have value. Wouldn’t it be great to have a time machine. Shot with a Kodak Brownie Starflex |

N73051 (cn 10259) If you took flying lessons in Oklahoma City in 1961 there is about a 50% chance that you flew this airplane. This plane belonged to Bob Whitehead who owned Flight Training Center at Wiley Post Airport. You could take a flying lesson for $10.00 an hour back then flying this Cessna 140. After 1961 Bob bought a Cessna 150 and the tail dragger days were over. |

N90766 (cn 43544/211) "Flagship Hartford" - This is an American Airlines DC-6B photographed in Feb. 1958 at Will Rogers Airport in Oklahoma City. I was 14 years old at that time and I would ask my mom to drop me off at the airport on Saturday so that I could watch airplanes all day. Mom would let me used her cheap little camera she used during the war years that did use 120 film but had a one element lens with a shutter that had a small spring that flipped a flat piece of metal over a small fixed aperture. |

N3363G / 226/15 (cn AA107) Replica built by James S. Appleby in the years 1957 through 1962. This photo was taken August 31, 1969 at Attumwa Regional Airport during the annual Antique Airplane Association fly-in. This was my first association with the antique aircraft community and I must say there is no closer group of people in any aviation organization. |

N12237 (cn 3) This is a Nieuport 28 replica designation LF-1, one of three, built from original plans by Claude Flagg working for Garland Lincoln in 1938. This plane was built for the production of the Howard Hawks movie The Dawn Patrol. In 1961 it was owned by the late great Frank Tallman and was being flown from Las Angles to Pensacola, Florida along with N3440G a FG-1D Corsair as part of the 50 year Anniversary of Naval Aviation. That is Frank Tallman in the Nieuport running up the engine. Shot with Brownie Starflex |

**-**** This photo was shot in 1960 at NAS Dallas when I was there for the National Model Airplane Championships. During the day the base would be closed between 8:00AM to 5:00 PM and if anything flew it was these F-86L’s that were fully armed with air to air rockets. The air guard commander let me take photos of the F-86L’s but told me to not get near the planes with three day glow strips of tape on the side for that indicated that they were fully armed for intercept. Shot with my Brownie Starflex camera. |

147734 (cn 12498) This is a photo of Skyhawk 147734 flown into NAS Dallas by Lt. J.G. Woody Grover the evening before. Woody located a previous photo I posted of his plane on Airliners.net so I wanted to upload another photo I think he would enjoy. I was 16 years old at the time and just could not believe I was running loose on a Navy base. 147734 went to MASDC as 3A0359 Mar 8, 1972. This photo was shot with my trusty Brownie Starflex 127 camera. |
