Arado Ar-234 Blitz
Unknown
Germany, 1945
Remark
Photographer
A 2nd photo I must share with you taken by my father duringWW II. From books that I have read, this aricraft was apparently the world's first jet bomber. First appeared in 1943 and was intended to fill a Luftwaffe requirement for a high speed recon A/C - 1st flight was June 15,1943. 1st recon flight was late 1944 and bombing duties followed on Xmas eve 1944.
