N579CD (cn 2564) Cirrus never ceases to amaze me! Now there's this glass panel. We're in 1380 feet, at 1960 RPM, the manifold pressure is 12.2 In-Mg, 27% of the engine power in use, the oil temperature is 170 F and the oil pressure is 52 PSI. Nothing but cool! |

UR-82060 (cn 19530503763) Late last night (Oct. 3rd) the Mriya made her first but hopefully not last appearance in Iceland. The photo shows seven of its fourteen wheel-boogies. The aircraft is carrying huge generators which are to be used in the disaster areas in the southern U.S.A. The "beauty-beast" is scheduled to depart tonight around midnight. |

F-BTSD (cn 213) I'm angry at myself! Dec. 23, 2005, was the first day I noticed that the Concorde has reversers! ... Oh damn me! Still, not to forget about the plane, it's preserved at the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace. |

HB-JID (cn 53460/2142) The classic instrument panel of this fairly new Hello MD-90 after it had arrived from STN with a good landing by the autopilot. Many thanks go the French pilot and Swiss first officer for giving me permission to photograph the panel. They also gave me permission to sit in the pilot's seat, but I refused, because the plane was going to be closed soon, and because I had to fetch my bags and buy chocolate in-time. :-) |

NX251RJ / CY-D (cn 124-44703) Miss Velma” landing on Runway 13 at 2:52 AM! It was plain luck that I could capture her landing, she and a Pilatus were due to RKV at 3:30 AM, but they came at 02:50. I'm extremely glad to live so close to the Arctic Circle, as there's no real darkness at this time of the year. :-) (the plane is part of “Operation Bolero II”) [135mm, f/5, 1/50th, ISO 400] |

MN235 This is the world's only surviving Hawker Typhoon. It is, as you know, the real Typhoon! Here are no stupid computers or plastic. Only 'good' instruments! :-) It is now resting after a long life in the RAF Museum. |
