N104RB (cn 183-1024) A sad picture - all that was left of Darryl Greenamyer's Starfighter in 1987. Greenamyer built this Starfighter using pieces obtained from many sources. On October 24th 1977, he set a FAI 3km speed record of 988.26 mph, which still stands. On February 26, 1978, while preparing an assault on the FAI altitude record, he was unable to get the landing gear to lock before landing. As it was dangerous to land in this condition, he was forced to eject and the airplane was destroyed, as shown in this picture. |

153001 / NH-210 (cn 1440) Wreckage from downed American aircraft on display in the Air Defence Museum. The Phantom in the background crashed on May 14th, 1967, when during a strike on anti-aircraft defences near the Than Hoa bridge, both engines flamed out and could not be restarted. This was likely due to the ingestion of debris from the Zuni rockets fired moments before. The crew ejected and were taken prisoner. |

N110DL (cn 22222/56) An early photo of the Boeing 767 production line. From production records I've figured out that the aircraft at left center is Delta's N110DL (line number 56). The aircraft to the left and right of N110DL are TransBrazil's PT-TAA and PT-TAB. Further to the right is ANA's JA8481 (now N769AX). The aircraft at the far right is TransBrasil's PT-TAC and the aircraft to the left of it is China Airlines' second 767, B-1838 (now C-FUCL). |
