OE-EAS / RB-37 (cn 9149) This is the view you get from the Skyvan photoship when pilot Tony de Bruyn gives the call for a close approach ;) Matthias Dolderer is positioning the Red Bull Corsair is a véry sweet angle for all photographers onboard. In the distance you can see the P-38 awaiting its turn. |

91-0011 (cn 4R-81) Happy 100th anniversary for the Turkish Airforce!! One of the highlights of the big centennial airshow and one of the most beautifull photoflights in my life was this unique 'formation of teamleaders'; the Solo Turk F-16 is leading an aircraft of Iskry Team, Aguilas, Frecce Tricolori, Patrouille de France and two of Turkish Stars...amazing amazing, in the glorious sunset ;-) Picture taken from backseat of Patrouille de France Alpha Jet #9 |

69-033 (cn D33) I don't think I can portrait a cargo aircraft any better then this!! Over a steel blue sky in a freezing surrounding the supportplane of the 'Solo Turk' F-16 is posing for us behind the Skyvan. The Transall is wearing the brand new paint of their national team Turkish Stars and a sticker of the Centennial. |

91-0011 (cn 4R-81) the last air2air-academy photoflights brought us the new star of the European airshowcircuit; Major Murat Keles is bringing his 'Solo Turk' F-16 close to the Skyvan photoship for a fantastic photosession over the clouds in a stunning 'cool' , réally freezing setting ;-) without any doubt one of the best looking demo aircraft of the year! Happy anniversary Turkish Airforce! |

3828 (cn 4689) Our very first encounter with the magical Phantoms, an idea many photographers tought never would succeed! The Skyvan is as a photoship still fairly 'slow', but the German Rhino's intercepted us over the sea as a slow moving target, a truly unforgetable moment in all our photoflight adventures. This picture also shows very clearly that it is possible to take a lot more creative shots then a typical 'head-on' photo, when sitting on an open ramp. |

67 (cn 2960526367) And here comes...Iceman!! It took us two years and three attempts to finally welcome the iconic Mig 29 behind the Skyvan photoship, flown and presented in a fantastic way by Polish Airforce pilot 'Iceman'. I know we've been really spoiled in recent years with all the air to air academy photoflights, but the Mig 29 remained so very high on the wishlist...untill today ;-) !! |

J4049 (cn DS37) Thanks to Sqn Ldr. Nitin Batra I had the very unique opportunity to shoot the Indian 'Sarang Team' airborne!! The weather was absolutely crap, but hey how many times will we see this great team flying in Europe? It was the teams first and only visit so far. The photo is taken in the vicinity of Waddington airbase, right after their rehursal; the photoship was the fifth Dhruv helicopter. |

A-914 (cn 322) Always an incredible and impressive pleasure to fly with the Swiss 'PC-7 Team'. Here I am flying on the outside of the famous Diamond 9 formation with 'Ebi' ; stunning scenery really, as we warm up for the actual airshowdisplay during the Goteborg Aeroshow 2010, whoohooow!! Many thanks to Burny, Hoffi , Ebi and Svante Kilen for the way to cool ride ;) |

G-ZEXL (cn 1225) "smoke off, go!" You can see very clearly the military background of the pilots of the Blades, as most of them flew during their service in the Royal Airforce with the Red Arrows. In this photo The Blades pose behind the Skyvan photoship very nicely over the clouds in a beautifull blue sky with bright sunshine on their orange aircraft. |

PH-MEX (cn 650-0217) During the photoflight with this very nice businessjet we only had some réal sunshine for about 1 minute....but it's all you need for a good sunsetpicture ;) the background is the Dutch city of Eindhoven, home of Solid Air; unfortunately they went bankrupt in 2011. For once I did not fly our famous Skyvan as a photoship, but I was lucky enough to have the impressive B-25 Mitchell as a photoplatform ;)) |

N13FY / 16544/FY (cn 78-6922) One of our best photoship high over Belgium for a nice photoshoot over the clouds; the backseat can be swiveled 180 degrees so you have an almost 360 angle as a photographer, absolutely superb! We took of from Malle airfield, the place that would become wellkown in the following years as the home of the Air to Air Academy! The photo was taken from the Yak-18 |

G-10 (cn 900-00034) Now that is an interesting way to watch the cupfinal of Belgium football ;-) I'm very pleased with the result at 1000 asa , the photoship for this flight was another helicopter of the federal police; for major events in the capitol of Brussels it is very common to see areal surveillance. |

522 / 5-OV One of the sexiest looking jetfighters out there; very agile and still very easy to fly at slow speeds. Displaypilot 'Ralloch' is hanging here on the wing of a Yak-52, I like the high angle of attack and the glimpse of sun that came out right after a thunderstorm. |

OO-SMM (cn 2-47) Final flight of one of the last civilian Marchettis in Belgium! The aircraft was sold to a Danish owner who set up the 'Air Combat Europe' company, offering aerobatic dogfights to clients. The marchetti was painted in camouflage colours with a sharkmouth. Unfortunately that company went bankrupt 1 year later and the fate of the aircraft is unknown.... |
