N907TF (cn 107) As we were flying from Wichita, KS to North America's highest aerodrome - Leadville, Colorado (KLXV, elev. 9927ft / 3025m AMSL (and yes, I got the T-shirt)) - we only made our way into Garden City Regional for a quick touch and go, but had to delay our flight due to a minor tech problem. Seeing this immaculate 1977 Falcon 10 sitting on the ramp in glorious sunshine, begging to be photographed, was a true joy. Owned by Tyson Foods Inc based in Springdale Arizona. They probably stopping by visiting the large cattle farms in the area looking at some soon-to-be hamburgers? ;-) |

N239AX (cn 39) Without doubt that's one of the nicest shots in my collection, I just like every bit of it. It was a rather quiet pre-season afternoon in LSZS, yet this beautiful Falcon made it so rewarding. The crew kept her low during take-off, retracted the gear and just at that moment the snow trailed off the spinning wheels. Together with the special Samedan sunshine the result is just incredible. See you again some day E., enroute preferably! |

G-IMAC (cn 3065) Well what could you possibly say about G-IMAC.......stunning metalish looking livery would be a good way to start. Certainly stands out in between the masses of all white with cheatline business jets! Big kudos to Gama for having the guts to apply this scheme to their Challenger! Looks so classy and yet so surreal. This jet plays in a league with Wunala, Hibiscus and Illinois One! ;-) |

CS-DNS (cn 139) Hardly a day at Innsbruck passes without a NetJets aircraft passing through, and this splendid winter afternoon was no exception. After shooting several bizjets in a row this EASy Falcon made a spectacularly steep climb, heading for the sky. I didn't crop the shot ultra-tight to include the jetwash and the peaks you're probably all used to by now. Bizjets, snow and low sunshine is all one needs! |

OE-LXR (cn 9235) When one is able to walk circles around a brand new and polished corporate jetliner in an otherwise empty maintenance hangar, you certainly get to find angles that normally don't come to your mind. Thanks to the intense sunlight through the windows they reflect beautifully on the immaculate fuselage and paired with the wide angle lens it looks quite amazing, at least that's what I think. That's not just an aircraft, that's a piece of art. |

G-EVLN (cn 1175) The Sunday afternoon rush hour is in full swing as this beautiful British Gulf lines up on runway 03 just a few minutes before sunset. The blue and yellow colour scheme together with snow is just perfect in my opinion; and the roaring sound of these nice engines certainly made it easier to 'call it a day' after they were airborne. Couldn't get much better anyway! |

N908AW (cn 24233/244) Before the merger, my aircraft used to have the Arizona Cardinals special livery, but I got to fly it in full US Airways colours. A huge shame, but anyway. As we approach Phoenix Sky Harbor International's runway 7R our shadow crosses the Interstate 10 southeast of downtown Phoenix. Quite luckily the arrow on the road points at the part of the aircraft I sat in. US Airways 42 from LAX. |

D-AHFX (cn 30416/778) The HLX.com logojet called "South of Sardinia - Cagliari" departs Innsbruck on a lovely winter afternoon, bound for TXL. Looks like these beautiful yellow blended winglets scratch along the cliffs while the crew banks the Boeing north to comply with the procedure. |

HB-AEU (cn 3199) The local flagship arrives during the usual Sunday afternoon fly-in. They probably had to pick up some well-walleted ( hehe ) self-loading freight and now fly them into the alpine winter wonderland. The Do-328jet certainly is a good looking machine, and this classic SMV angle is even more fascinating. This is a full colour photo, and yet it seems so surreal and desaturated. |

OE-GNF (cn 60-304) Vista Jet certainly becomes a big name in the European bizjet jungle, and seeing the number of aircraft they are about to receive I'd say they'll become a even more common visitor to Moscow, the Cote d'Azur or St.Moritz. While simple, the silver livery is just beautiful on any of their bizjets...can't wait for the first Global Express...wonder who will see it first ;-) |

HB-FKP (cn 877) Dedicated to the bunch of photographers who were kind enough to almost ruin ramp access at Samedan forever because of their kindergarten-style behaviour. [1DmkIII + 17-40L at 17mm] |

G-CJMB (cn 8055) January 02nd...I'm probably not long enough into aviation photography to claim that the few Russian days as we call them usually have bad weather, but during the last few years we certainly didn't see sunshine...Guess we're really lucky this year. I only got to shoot my first Challenger 850 half a month ago at Samedan, and little did I know that the next one is just around the corner! While I never really liked CRJs flying for airlines, these Challenger 850ies certainly look attractive! |

OE-GLY (cn 60-333) 2008 certainly had a nice beginning today, with about 25-30 bizjets arriving and departing in patterns similar to BA 319s at Heathrow ;-). This Lear 60XR is a brand-new one for Salzburg-based Vista Jet, as it was delivered in November 2007. The once small executive charter company is certainly growing at a fast rate, nice number of planes on order too... Stunning departure of Lima Yankee with your usual Innsbruck backdrop :-) |

HB-IDJ (cn 7136) The Canadair Jet 100's business jet version is officially branded as Challenger 850...and wow - that's a truly impressive bizjet if you're standing right next to it! This wide angle shot was taken right next to the winglet, showing the forward fuselage reflecting beautifully on the wing. You never know what you get at Samedan! |

HB-ZHY (cn 4220) Samedan is one airport that you absolutely can't get enough of. Every single time the 2hr drive is full of expectations and curiosity, not knowing which gems might stand around at the apron and arrive during the day. If you fancy taking a small break from bizjets, follow the various helicopter movements in the region...it's hard not to get a nice mountain as backdrop for your pictures at SMV! A yellow chopper against a cold, blurred mountain...just nice. |
