N707JT (cn 18740/388) A once in a lifetime experience. Thanks to a contact with Airliners magazine, I was given access to this press event involving two 707s and John Travolta. On the left is VH-XBA making its way to Australia and on the right is N707JT, John Travolta's 707. Truely a moment I will forever treasure. Thanks to John Travolta for the great conversation and chance to see inside his fine bird! Canon 350D. Canon 18-55 EF-S |

N183JB (cn 19000007) The money, gas, and time I spent to get this plane. You all have no idea. I drove around that airport at least 5 times starting to go home and give up. Thank goodness no cops were around because I wasn't always going the speed limit either when I would return to the spot to get it. Finally, right as I made my 5th attempt to get it, it got airborn and I got this shot of it climbing out. This made my day. Thanks to Brian Futterman. [Canon 300D] |

N620FE (cn 48791/635) Voted by all in attendance the "money shot of the trip." What a beautiful display of color, aerodynamics, and vortices. Climbing out from 12R in the early morning light. As Adam Wright said, "Fedex always pleases," and they do. Canon 350D |

N665US / 6305 (cn 23820/726) This beautiful Delta painted 747 was in OMA operating a charter to/from IAD for WWII veterans. I never thought I'd be this close to a Delta 747, especially in OMA. What a great experience! |

N610DL (cn 22817/66) A photoshop change? Looks like it but no. This is DL's newest Song aircraft painted Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness support. Very ugly in my opinion but it is for a great cause so I like it. This was a big surprise to see coming down the runway. Unfortunately, the sun had to hide. The story of my life. Thanks to Justin C. for the edit. [Canon 300D used with permission on flysong.com/onthefly] |

N905NA / 376 (cn 20107/86) I lived in Florida for 19 years and never once got this close to the shuttle. Who would've thought my first semi-closeup encounter with the space shuttle would be in Bellevue, Nebraska? Quite a fine looking pair of birds. BIG thanks go out to Karly Kolden and the whole Kolden family for passing on the word of the shuttle's arrival and the access that was given to me. I couldn't have gotten this shot without them! Truely a once in a lifetime experience. Canon 350D. Canon 100-400L/IS |

N536JB (cn 1784) 11 days after shooting this pic, this plane would have a nose gear malfunction and be forced to divert to LAX from its original BUR-JFK flight. It was very emotional and exciting to watch this beauty make a glorious landing on LAX's runway 25L. Awesome job to the crew! Couldn't have landed it any better. [Canon 300D] |
