PH-HZE (cn 28377/277) Ever wondered what the inside of a 737 wheelwell would look like? As you see, there are a lot of coloured parts, tubes and wires. [Nikkor 10.5mm Fisheye] |

PH-FZG (cn 20202) This airport is not as famous as St. Maarten but just as exciting and deserves some attention. This photo is taken just after the popular picture 931289. Must be quite a view from the small boats in the water! |

PH-XRB (cn 28256/1298) Dinner with a view! Just departed Iraklion and heading North to overfly the Balkan with its impressive evening-thunderstorms, further North all the way to Amsterdam. Just after reaching our cruising altitude its finally time to enjoy the warm meals and see the world glide by underneath us. |

Final above this ship-graveyard-bay. Dozens of ghostships are left to sink here. On this picture you can see 3 ships stranded on the shore. Tragic but spectacular sight from the cockpit! Flights for Air Mauritanie operated by Denimair. |

PH-HZF (cn 28378/291) Like most of my colleagues prefer... the dome light on, the cockpit flooding with light. To keep awake as long as possible, to fool the body that it is still day. But with the loss of the beauty that is shown outside... the natural spectacle of the stars, the cities that float away below. |

OY-TDZ (cn 29347/1318) Long exposure (15 seconds) in an attempt to capture the colours and the atmosphere of the evening sky while flying over Spain. The big blur of light ahead of us is the city of Madrid and while the sun casts her last rays of light over us we prepare ourselves for a quiet and comfortable night ahead of us on our way back to Copenhagen, Denmark. Former registration PH-XRC, new reg for Danish Transavia.com sistercompany. |

We had to follow the An-12 that is still on the runway, through the Kabul valley. Not too hard since she left a huge smoke trail for us to follow. Ahead of the runway are the suburbs of Kabul, the huge hills and beyond those you can clearly see the icy peaks of the HinduKush mountains (19.000ft ASL). Imagine the performance calculations needed for a heavy departure! What a view. |
