A6-EWD (cn 35577/688) Inaugural 'green flight' taxiing in after arrival from a 16+ hour flight from Dubai. Flew over Russia, the North Pole and Canada. Had a pre-flight special washing to reduce drag, priority departure with unimpended climb to cruise altitude, minimal reverse thrust upon landing and single engine taxi to gate as seen here. |

JA717A (cn 33415/580) The very rare & famous rnwy 01 circle to land approach over Millbrae Hills. Flight #8 from Tokyo, Japan (RJAA) coming out of an unusually low & sharp bank ( a la mini Kai Tak!) as it flies over Millbrae Hill roof & treetops! Other heavies before and after this plane were well above the hills at this particular point! |

RP-C550 (cn 25737) Wheel well stow-away candidate caught in the act by pilot! ;) Mind unblocking the portside wheel first before the plane departs for Manila? "550" is reportedly one of the last two or three flyable DC-3's in this country. At 62 years old 'he' still manages to haul chicks from Luzon to Cagayan. That is, two truckfull of baby chickens in containers folks. Not young girls! 7:57AM. |
