OY-KAA (cn 122) ”Stig Viking” was the 3rd A300 fro SAS delivered december 12th 1980, an operated by SAS until 1983, converted to A300B4-120 in may. Leased out to Malaysian Airlines System October 11th 1983, written off December 18th same year, as it landed 500m short of runway at Kuala Lumpur in bad weather. No fatalaties. Seen ready for departure rwy 24. The dragon ears is seen hanging a little bit down, as if it knew... |

LN-RCA (cn 079) "Snorre Viking" seen on final approach to rwy 24 from London as SK512. Built 1979 as 1st A300B2-320 with PW JT9D-59A engines, ff 28.04.1979 as F-WZEN, and shown Paris Air Show in june 1979 wearing SAS colours. Delivered to SAS January 14th 1980 and went into service a month later. |

YS-08C (cn 21599/514) Built 1978 for TACA , and leased by BU in hybrid colours from september 26th 1985 to may 28th 1986, after the 1st B767 LN-SUV had been returned to Boeing. Later N171AW and F-GHXK. Was stored at Lagos airport during may 2008. Seen on final approach for rwy 06 that winter it flew domestic for Braathens SAFE. |

Leased to Scanair from january 17th 1984, until sold as OY-CNL to Conair february 1st 1987. Then with Premiair until sold to Bosphorus European Airways as TC-COA december 13th 2001. Stored at Istanbul airport since 2005. Seen arriving rwy06 from CPH. |

This clearly shows the difference between the standard livery and the experimental one chosen for the last 4 DC-9-41s. |

But in july 1982 it was chosen to display two different colourschemes of what was to become the new SAS-colours in April 1983. During the evaluation prosess LN-RLP reverted to the standard colours with an unusual whit fuelsage. New reg SE-DOO March 29th 1999. OY-KGR was operated by SAS until wfu december 10th 2001. It became N66XS in July 2002, but has been stored at Roswell (ROW/KROW), USA, for several years now. |
