N962SW (cn 7859) "This is from the flight deck. OK, folks, from now for five minutes or so, looks like you will have a wonderful view of downtown Chicago on your left. I will switch the seatbelt sign on, so please be seated and enjoy the view. Thank you for choosing SkyWest and Happy Holidays to you all!" The captain brought our flight UA6828 to Runway 27 Left for smooth landing. I know this is a damn difficult image to capture; but, that will not prevent my passion for photography as it was absolutely beautiful moment.

JA8985 (cn 27652/72) Approaching to perform another set of touch and go during the training flight. We had just passed through the rainy season, which gave us an incredible view of the coral reflection. Those clouds were also affected by the coral reflection. Isn't that amazing? Today, the more flight simulator has been introduced, the more difficult to find a training flight under that perfect scenery. I will be appreciated if you use this photo for your desktop.

N649AS (cn 30663/1386) Wow! Northern lights and the Great Dipper!! This could be one of the ultimate window views that I could expect. Mother Nature surely does know how to pose for photographs. However, this is changing forever and could disappear suddenly as we are now traveling more than 700 km/h with 10 km off the ground. Definitely, this is a damn difficult image to capture where my passion for photography comes from. The red cast on the wing comes from the anti-collision light as I managed to synchronize my photo with it.

Remark

OV-103 (cn OV-103) The day before launch, I chatted with the guy in the Snack Mobile. "I saw the Columbia's lift-off from here; but, they've never come back. Shuttle does have to come back because we are always waiting for them to cheer," he said. I was moved. Yes, those who have someone waiting for you with cherished love are beautiful. People who have the place to come back are wonderful. In the America's Spaceport, the truck represents my feeling toward the seven bravest astronauts. Go Discovery! We are behind you!!

Atlas Air

Anchorage - Ted Stevens International (ANC / PANC)
USA - Alaska, November 12, 2005
Remark
Photographer
N512MC (cn 21220/294) Ah, the moon! Atlas Air B747 has just arrived at the designated parking space, and seems to start enjoying the moon rise while refueling. Southern Air B.747 (N746SA) parks behind. Setting sun illuminates the peaks of mountains beautifully whereas the ground does not completely turn dark which is usually the case of snow. I wish you could smell the holy atmosphere that I felt at the moment. In a reality, I think it might be a good idea to take my way back now before the road will completely freeze again.

United Parcel Service - UPS

Anchorage - Ted Stevens International (ANC / PANC)
USA - Alaska, November 24, 2006
Remark
Photographer
N2**UP It is always delighted to see some snow on the undercarriage is blown off by the air stream. This UPS MD-11F is now leaving Anchorage from runway 32 with some interesting selection of cargo airplanes behinds. As this photograph was taken the moment after the sun broke through the peak of mountains, the orange hue gives us a warm atmosphere. In a reality, it is -9F (-22.8C) which makes me pretty cold; but, as you might know, I like crispy winter day so that I really enjoy what I am doing here!!

USA - Texas, December 4, 2005
Remark

N558UA (cn 26654/462) This is the night impression of Dallas Fort Worth Airport from the northwest. After enjoying over the "Channel 9" (aka from the flight deck) from Denver for two hours as UA296, we are welcomed by this magnificent landscape which was taken shortly before landing Runway 36 Right at that airport. From our port side window, we could observe the entire airport along with Dallas downtown in the far distance. It might be a rare opportunity to observe this 'big picture' under such a crisp condition. What a view!

N529UA (cn 25019/352) "United 764 heavy, cleared to land runway 27 right. Caution, American MD-80 is on your 10 o'clock toward the parallel runway 27 left." "Okay sir. We are in sight." After smooth flight from Dallas Fort Worth for two hours, we are welcomed by the beautiful setting sun over the Lake Michigan. From our port side window, we could see a wonderful view of downtown Chicago skyline and shoreline. Sears Tower nicely stands out. Famous "Windy City" seems to be damn calm this afternoon.

Harbour Air
De Havilland Canada DHC-6-300 Twin Otter
Vancouver - Harbour Seaplane (CXH / CYHC)
Canada - British Columbia, December 20, 2002
Remark
Photographer
C-GXXB (cn 426) Is washed by the mechanic after all flights were over. It was chilly and clear dark when the lights had just started blinking. Company's Beaver and Turbo Otter were resting together enjoying the beautiful night. The tail and vertical stabilizer of the Twin Otter are a little blurry because the engine was running during 30 sec exposure. Christmas illumination on the office makes this scene more impressive.

Southern Air
Boeing 747-228F/SCD
Anchorage - Ted Stevens International (ANC / PANC)
USA - Alaska, November 12, 2005
Remark
Photographer
N752SA (cn 21255/295) Is taking off using the full length of Rwy 32 at Anchorage. Snow on the ground was blown up by the jet blast created by four CF6s. You might also notice that some fractured ice (that I presume) falling down from the main gear are captured. As I was aware that this location makes me backlit, I intended to take this image which was already completed in my mind before I click the shutter. It depicts the grace of flight and majesty of B.747 I would say. We are in 20F allowing us to capture such a crisp image.

FedEx - Federal Express
McDonnell Douglas MD-11F
Anchorage - Ted Stevens International (ANC / PANC)
USA - Alaska, November 25, 2006
Remark
Photographer
N621FE (cn 48792/636) Lightly loaded FedEx MD-11F is now rocketing out from RWY32 at Anchorage - because of the Saturday maybe? As the sun was suddenly jumping into the frame, it gave me an interesting yellowish hue. The thermometer in the vehicle showed that it was -9F (-22.8C) which made me pretty cold; but, as you might know, I like winter so that I was really excited what I am doing here! The horizontal stabilizer and tail section were shadowed onto the puff of clouds created by break dusts. Pretty cool effect I would say.

Remark

OV-103 (cn OV-103) "I can't think of a better place to be here on the Fourth of July and Independence Day, to be getting ready to launch into space. To all the folks at Kennedy Space Center and the Shuttle program, thanks a lot for working so hard in the last dew days and the last year to get us ready. To all the folks on the Florida east coast, we hope to very soon get you up-close-and-personal look at the rocket's red glare" said by CDR Steven Lindsey over the radio. Here you go commander! This is your rocket's red glare!

Remark

N52950 (cn 17274642) What a sight! Look at the magnificent Glacier! It looks as if the Ocean has instantly been frozen. For me, the imagination allows me to think that the high wing of Cessna 172 looks like a mast of sailboat. In a reality, our 172 is now flying over the Knik Glacier when the sun is about to set. Our friend former JSDF F-15 Commander Yuguchi brought my family to this sightseeing flight. He is now flying as a bush pilot with his Husky based Merrill Field. I am looking forward to fly with him this summer.

Rockwell Space Shuttle
Off-Airport - Kennedy Space Center
USA - Florida, July 12, 2005
Remark
Photographer
OV-103 (cn OV-103) Many journalists and photographers flock in front of the Launch Pad 39B to watch the service structure roll away from Discovery at 11:00 pm on July 12. It was truly a stunning moment when everyone was anxiously waiting for. As the initial launch attempt in the following day had been scrubbed because the fuel sensor in the external tank did not work properly, it finally had launched on July 26 -- the first Space Shuttle mission since Columbia's disaster 2 1/2 years ago which left the entire fleet grounded.

Untitled
Cessna A185F Skywagon 185
Anchorage - Lake Hood Strip / Seaplane (LHD / Z41)
USA - Alaska, November 12, 2005
Remark
Photographer
N22CB (cn 18502188) This Cessna 185 is sitting quiet but resting peacefully at the Lake Hood Seaplane Airport. As the lake is completely frozen during winter, the owner put his lovely airplane onto the lakeside which gave me this unique perspective. Low winter sun is rising just behind the airplane whereas the snow helps the shadow to brighten up. This is a full 12mm view which I think it is something interesting to show. Bright yellow color of this airplane gives this image a final touch.
