RA-76950 (cn 2043420697) An unexpected visitor on Schiphol! A verry nice (althrough less exciting) Il-76 of Volga-Dnepr. This is till now the only Il-76 with new engines which fit into the new noise-regulation law, and I can tell you... they didn't sound that loud! (shame it is!). The fuselage is also just a bit larger then a regular Il-76. In the background stands N719CK of Kallita. |

6102 (cn 079806102) I was visiting the Kbely museum and was able to look underneath a fence. Two Il-14's, Il-18 and a Yak-40, it was worth it! Delivered to the air force in 1958, flew with CSA as OK-MCB in 1960. Returned to the air force and converted to Avia 14FG, the photographic survey variant. Made its last flight on 9 April 1994 into Kbely. The Il-18 in the background was stored here after it was hit by a Tu-134 (OK-CFD) in 1977. |

XR810 (cn 830) Second VC-10 that day at Hannover! The first one departed about an hour before this one arrived. We first thought that the first VC-10 had problems and was returning to the airport. But when we saw that it was another one, we were really happy! |

PH-AHX (cn 24847/315) ATC-tower visit number 2. I won't forget these visits for the rest of my life! This plane doesn't have a really exciting history... Has flown with SAS as LN-RCD and since 2003 it became PH-AHX and flown with Air Holland, HollandExel and finally with Arkefly. Boring... |

OK-WAJ (cn 187010101) Ex CSA Czechoslovak Airlines, now stored next to the highway. It was withdrawn from use on 25 November 1984 and placed here on 17 Sep 1986. It was used as a restaurant named Moto-Auto, but when I came the Moto-Auto titles where removed (you could see them just a little bit...) and it appeared to be empty. Its registration before OK-WAJ was CCCP-75451. |

43-49081 (cn 14897/26342) Is preserved at the US Air Force base at Frankfurt-Rhein Main airport. It is a memorial for the Berlin Airlift, a huge operation to bring food and fuel into Berlin in 1948/49. The Russians had isolated Berlin from the rest of the world so no cargo could enter Berlin over the ground. The only way to bring those things was through the air. Next to this DC-3 is also DC-4 44-9063. The DC-3 has flown as EC-ASF with Iberia, T.3-64 with the Spanish Air Force and as N1350M. And of course as you see it now: 43-49081 of the USAAF. |

PH-MAD (cn 04453) This Devon was previously flying for the Royal Navy as XJ350. It went in service in August 1955 and was phased out on March 25, 1981. The Aviodome (now Aviodrome) bought it in November 1982 and painted it in the colors of the PH-MAD. The "real" PH-MAD (cn 04030) joined Martin's Air Charter (now Martinair) on March 31, 1960. |

HA-ANI (cn 1G132-55) With Russian AF markings and small Stichting Antonov titles. Performed at Lelystad Air Show 2004. It is just a bit frightening when it comes towards you! The plane is completely symmetrical, even the prop! |
