57-2589 (cn 17725) Despite Waddington being overrun with lots of nice NOMAD participant fighter aircraft, this was the undoubted star movement of the day. This aircraft was the personal transport of CinC Pacific Air Forces and has undergone Pacer CRAG upgrade to become personal transport of USAF Chief of Staff since March 2003. |

The units visible are, APUC (Auxiliary Power Unit Controller), APU Static Inverter, Surface Position Digitiser Card File, AFCS (Automatic Flight Control system), REU (Remote Electronics Unit), CVR (Cockpit Voice Recorder) and DFDR (Digital Flight Data Recorder). |

Seen here from some 15,000ft onboard G-EZJX enroute MAD-LTN. You can clearly see that runway 27L is handling arrivals this morning and 27R departures as a heavy nears takeoff on 27R and the next to leave moves to line up. Landing traffic can be seen rolling out on 27L. |
