PH-HZY (cn 30646/1122) Amazing take-off by TRA165 to Las Palmas. A wet runway 05 was in use and there was some sun, which proved to make very nice conditions! On the approach for RWY05 you can see an aircraft which I think is a PA44 from Stella Aviation. |

HS-TNB (cn 681) A view of this massively big engine. The sun was at the right place at the right time for sure. You can even look through it. |

PH-ACE (cn FA-80) The aircraft formerly known as N300HH and I had the chance to go along on a training flight today. The routing was EHGG-EDWE-EHGG and this photo was taken during the short turn in for the 2nd Touch & Go at Emden. Many thanks to Danny, Manfred, Marcel and Bert for a fantastic experience! |

86-0013 (cn 500-0099) It took aaaaages for the Glaxy to be ready for departure. They had to push it all the way from Aeroshell Square to the runway using their own towbar. when they got to the beginning of the runway, the loading of the towbar was very time consuming. It was fun seeing the nose up though! |

F-WWDD (cn 004) The A380 was parked at Aeroshell Square and was open to visitors. The line was over an hour long, so I didn't bother. Due to the heat all doors were open to keep the temperature at a decent level. |

PH-BFV / FV-039 (cn 28460/1225) A sight not seen very often at this airport. Every once in a while we get a 747 on a test-flight, which will fly a low approach on our ILS. Today the weather was far from good, but nevertheless a great sight! |

N199LP (cn 17264143) Sightseeingflight above Bonaire, with a lot of familiar places, including our former house (1st pier) and apartment (4th pier). I just love this shot, the airport all the way to the top, the magical blue coastline and the cruiseship as finishing touch! |

PH-BQF / QF-006 (cn 29398/474) The first Triple to sport the new "KLM Asia" titles. More 777's will be outfitted with "Asia" titles in the coming weeks/months. What is also extraordinary about this photo is that they actually touched the runway!! We get the KLM T7's regularly now after maintenance, because a low approach is part of the test flight. This is the first time however that they actually touch the runway, amazing! [NOTE: the gear doors open is a routine part of the test flight and they were NO-WHERE near a disaster...] |

N83WS (cn 1) Ladies & gentlemen, I present to you: Bumble Bee! Created by Robert Starr and it's hard to believe it (I know I have trouble with it), but this 'aircraft' has really flown and it even holds the World Record for the smallest piloted airplane (dated january 28, 1984). |

PH-BQD / QD-004 (cn 33713/465) Holy...!! Just when I thought that I thought that they couldn't go ANY lower, these guys come by and set the bar to an INSANELY high (or should I say low?!) level! This is by far the lowest low approach I've ever seen. Just check out how close the wheels are to the runway and keep in mind that it did not touch! For those that are wondering why the gear doors are open: This was was testflight after maintenance, where they fly the ILS to test the systems and part of the procedure is the alternate gear extension. |
