G-OANN (cn PFA 162-12932) This Zodiac came to grief on April 23, 2006 whilst on approach to Perth's Scone Aerodrome when its engine stopped. Despite his best efforts to restart the engine, the pilot carried out a forced landing in a field. Luckily he escaped with only minor injuries, but the aircraft was written off. The remains of the wreckage are now preserved at the Deeside Activity Park near Aboyne. |
