The former airfield of BAe Samlesbury. The site is still used by BAe for Eurofighter fuselage construction and other projects, however no longer sees any flying. The runway is currently being redeveloped and used for vehicle storage. The previous ICAO code of EGNG has been transferred to Bagby (Thirsk) aerodrome. Taken from PA28 G-BCCF en route to Blackpool from Manchester. |
