88-0436 (cn 1C-38) I prefer commercial aircraft to military aircraft because of their purpose, but I cannot resist the astonishing sound of such a machine! |

C-XPWC (cn 36-001) Now owned by ENA as an instructional airframe, this aircraft was used as a flying test bed by P&W Canada. The engine pod you see isn't original, since it is in this one that Pratt put its tested engine. The one on the other side, wich we don't see here, is much smaller. This aircraft was originally Learjet 26 cn 26-001, the prototype for the 35/36 series. It differs from the production aircraft by having winglets instead of tiptanks. The reg C-XPWC is fictitious to celebrate its test duties with P&W, its real former reg is C-GBRW. |
