Look at the flap just to the left of the engine mount and you can see how warped the flap became from the extreme heat. Funny though, the aircraft rests on brand new tires. |

N536JB (cn 1784) Del 05/24/2002 "Canyon Blue", tail livery "Squares" ex Airbus F-WWDS performs a low pass for the LGB tower for a nose gear inspection, and as you can see the nose gear is in a 90-degree position. Following the flyby, the aircraft spent the next 2 hours flying over the Pacific Ocean just off Long Beach burning fuel before diverting to LAX for an emergency landing, which happily was a succesful one without injuries. |
