N205UA (cn 28714/205) Here it is folks! Air India's new Boeing 777-200. Ex United, carrying a N205UA registration. Once this bird leaves for India, won't see it back at JFK for some time as I believe its routing will be mainly Europe, at least for now. Was previously stored at Goodyear. |

N14053 (cn 420) American flight 587, an Airbus A300 crashed shortly after take-off into several houses in the Rockaways. Shown here is one of the engines that fell off the aircraft and landed away from the main impact site. As I approached the house, the rear was totally engulfed in flames. You can cleary see the damage caused by the blazing fire. |

N921FT (cn 21575/358) On Saturday Jan. 22 this Polar Air Cargo B747 landed on 4R, overran and ended up in the arrestor bed/snow at the end. Photo was taken the next day around 1pm, still in need of removal. Aircraft were using 4L up and down while 4R remained closed. |

N770WD (cn 23306/125) The new Maxjet Airways B767 wearing the awesome new livery about to touchdown on 31L. Service begins in a few days and wish them the best of luck. With the professional staff behind this amazing new product I'm sure they'll do well. The sparkling paint is simply amazing up close and the interior is to die for. I'm look forward to a ride across the pond in pure luxury. |

F-BTSC (cn 203) Not the best quality but it's a very rare shot. On approach to 4R is F-BTSC, the Concorde that crashed on July 25, 2000 along with another aircraft that is no longer around. Egypt Air's B767-300, SU-GAP seen departing 4L bound for LAX. Also Egypt Air's Boeing 767 crashed on 31st October 1999 in the Atlantic ocean after departure from this J. F. Kennedy Airport, That's one very weird coincidence ! |

F-WWJB (cn 007) Returning from a short JFK to JFK press flight, "super" is seen here landing 4R just shortly after doing a high-level fly-by down runway 13R. The A380 looped-out over the ocean and performed an instrument landing. [Nikon D200] |

F-WWJB (cn 007) Here it is, the first arrival of the A380 at JFK. Operating as a Lufthansa special flight the aircraft arrived on runway 22L and proceeded over to Terminal One for parking. While seeing pics of the big beast is great, there's nothing like seeing it in person. [Nikon D200] |

N14053 (cn 420) Here's another view of flight 587's engine. If you look in the center of the photo, you'll see how the GE CF6-80C2A5 just missed the house and small boat. However, the damage was far from minimal. |

N921FT (cn 21575/358) What happens when you miss the "last exit before toll". In this case the toll is the arrestor bed at the end of 4R. Taken a day after the incident, you can see crews shoveling snow from the mains. |
