NL251L / 463864/HL-W (cn 122-31590) A rare chance to view Twilight Tear's guns... guns it used to shoot down three Bf-109's during WWII. Seen here at its home base in Granite Falls, MN.

Untitled
Aero L-39 Albatros
Fargo - Hector International (FAR / KFAR)
USA - North Dakota, May 25, 2013
Remark
Photographer
NX29HW (cn 131912) Unfortunately, this aircraft has only flown once since I photographed it last almost two years ago. At least it's kept in nice shape. If only they sold rides... Edit: As of Sep 2013, there seem to be no plans to fly this aircraft in the near future, if ever. Shame. It wasn't that long ago that there was a warbird flying every weekend during the summer in Fargo. How times have changed.

Untitled
Grand 51 Mustang
Fargo - Hector International (FAR / KFAR)
USA - North Dakota, December 29, 2012
Remark
Photographer
N2650N (cn 2002) This is the sole example of a Grand 51 Mustang (not to be confused with a Cameron P-51G). It was designed as a high speed "transport" for adventurous businessmen, but only one was ever built. An original Mustang fuselage was used, but it is powered by a Lycoming T53 engine. I have spent the last three years trying to capture it in some sunlight, but it rarely leave its hangar. It was recently sold and is seen here awaiting its turn in the maintenance hangar. I can't wait to see it flying!!

Untitled (Commemorative Air Force)
North American B-25J Mitchell
Fargo - Hector International (FAR / KFAR)
USA - North Dakota, August 7, 2012
Remark
Photographer
N27493 / 327493 (cn 108-33144) A nice elevated view of the B-25J seen here on a two day stop at the Fargo Air Museum. There are nicer B-25's out there, but considering this one get flown all over the country every summer, it looks great!
