Untitled
Thruxton Jackaroo
Off-Airport - Woburn Abbey
UK - England, August 18, 2013
Remark
Photographer
G-AOIR (cn 82882) One of only 19 Jackaroos built, they are often considered to be Tiger Moths on which they were based. They were however substantially different. The cockpit was widened and enclosed and the fuselage lengthened to make a four seat touring aircraft and the first conversion flew in 1957

Scillonia Airways
De Havilland DH-89A Dragon Rapide
Off-Airport - Woburn Abbey
UK - England, August 17, 2014
Remark
Photographer
G-AHAG (cn 6926) Built in 1945, I can remember this aircraft derelict at East Midlands in the late 1960s. It has been under restoration for many years and first flew again in 2013. It is seen here in the original Scillonia Airways livery making its first post restoration public appearance at the de Havilland Moth Club Rally. It looks stunning !
