A9C-HMH (cn 21649/373) Delivered new to Pan Am in 1979 as Clipper White Falcon, it had an interesting life flying for several airlines. On the time of upload, this beauty is still in service as VQ-BMS for Las Vegas Sands Corp. I had to wait several hours for this clean shot and still had to use the roof of my car as a tripod. Well worth the wait. |

Overview of the massive Domodedovo airport terminal. Despite being such a big and complex structure, I was amazed on how easy and functional it is for a passenger. Adding to that is the fact that it looks absolutely fantastic on photography in my opinion. |

59-1621 (cn 80) Everytime I visit NYC the USS Intrepid is always on my short list of places to visit and quite a lot has changed for even better since my last visit. This time this simply amazing row of helicopters on permanent display on the flight deck really captured my eye. Oh, and if you check the date of the photo...no we didn't feel the earthquake. |

Overview of a genuine landmark of aviation history. Today this magnificent bulding is known simply as terminal 5 at JFK airport, but in 1962 when it was opened it was the TWA flight center. Designed by Eero Saarinen this building truly represent an era when flying was glamorous and gracious. Today this building is used by the American carrier Jet Blue and since 1994 it was declared as historic landmark. Very beautiful indeed. |

The fantastic Barajas airport in Madrid as seen form flight level 350 while in route from Palma de Mallorca to Lisbon. Funny that as I was taking this photo, two friends were exactly on the famous roundabout snapping photos, so this one goes to José Geraldes and Luis Carlos Vieira. |

Murphy's law at its best...I had everything for a great overview of the cargo apron at Brussels airport, but then a cloud came and covered the sun exactly as we took off...grrr! Neverthless, I still think it's interesting to show the big 744 near the "jumbolinos" and the wingleted 767. The first time I saw a 767F with winglets on and it looks beautiful. |

OO-SSQ (cn 3790) Lovely view of the greater Lisbon area as we are on the downwind for a land on the 03 at Lisbon as flight SN3819 from Brussels in the end of the day. The Cascais airfield is clearly visible down below and even the Tagus river bridge can be seen. I was quite happy to fly on this bird as the markings in Spanish on the wing clearly indicated that this was an ex-Mexicana aircraft. |

Overview of the Ben Gurion airport near Tel Aviv as we are on the Down wind approach to runway 30 in the middle of the afternoon. Parked on the terminal are some widebodies like a Delta 744, a US A333 and a LH 343. I was quite happy to get this nice view from this place despite the weather. |

TC-JFZ (cn 29784/539) Pushing back from stand 223 at Istanbul airport as flight TK1759 for a 4 hours flight with destination Lisbon. Quite a few interesting machines parked on the stands like the two THY's 773's and of course the Ariana Afghan A310 regd TC-SGC on the left side. Also visible the three ATC towers at Istanbul. An amazing airport and THY is indeed an amazing airline. It was a pleasure flying with them and I will repeat it for sure. I felt like a star. |

D-AIMC (cn 044) And suddenly a spotting trip to one of my favourite airports in the world gets even more interesting. I have to say that seeing an A380 in a place where it is common to see only narrow bodies its really amazing. Mike Charlie is seen here departing Palma for the first time and heading to Barcelona as part of a promotion weekend tour by Lufthansa with the A380 in Spain. |

JA8905 (cn 26349/948) I remember vey well when I started to get into in aviation photography that some aircraft models like for example the 74D became something I hoped one day I would be able to catch in photo. A few years later I was able to visit Japan and to see a few of those rare 74D. Hardly was I able to imagine that less than a year after, JAL would end using this equipment. Glad I kept the hope alive time enough to catch them in photo. |

XA-TUE (cn 078) I remember talking to a friend that told me AeroUnion's ABX could be spotted in KLAX. I was very much interested in that and one morning very early I was able to catch in photo this classic beauty named "Margo". I'm sure that this one was a regular back in the early 1980's in my hometown airport when it flew for Air France. Tragically on the 13th April 2010 doing flight AeroUnion 302 crashed in Monterrey Mexico landing in bad weather claiming seven souls. |

EC-HET / 1 (cn 1034) Oh yes...this wasn't a very smart move from me, when I decided to get even closer to the fire and the firemen line to get a photo of this amazing water bomber droping water. |
