LY-DOT (cn 176) What can only be described as bad luck for this aircraft, a small tornado hit it on 8 Aug only a couple of hours after it had brought the road-crew and gear of Iron Maiden who were to perform in Sonisphere Finland 2010. The plane was probably lifted off the ground, as it had shifted a couple of meters and lost a gear.The damage to the port wing, the port propeller, the port main landing gear and fuselage resulted in the aircraft being scrapped and broken-up @POR. |
