Remark

F-WWJB (cn 007) Now thats what you call a nice white interior! Not to mention the IT air hostesses... Here we are, sitting in comfort, watching about 100 people from the tail cam waiting for us to take off in 40 degree temperature in DEL. I must say though, Airbus has totally rectified it 340 problem of extra long take off rolls on the A380. All those who havent been on the 380 yet, get prepared to be bowled over, rather, stumpped as us Indians who play cricket would say! Thanks EDDL for the edit once again.

F-WWJB (cn 007) The most historic day of my life, onboard the A380 for its promotional flight from DEL. We took off from DEL, turned south towards Jodhpur in Rajasthan, then turned around and flew over JAI where we started our descent into DEL. The A380 is one magnificent plane, its flight deck is awesome!

F-WWJB (cn 007) Here we are flying at FL 360 over the Indian state of Rajasthan. This was the demonstration flight of Airbus operated by Kingfisher. This was a great opportunity as there were only about 80-90 people on this flight. These stairs leading up to the upper deck were spacious and strongly built. Persons on board included various ministers, top lawyers, businessmen and the top notch newsmen of India. Also note the sofas on both the sides of the stairs. D200+10.5mm Thank you again Phil from EDDL for the editing!

Virgin America
Airbus A320-214
New York - John F. Kennedy International (Idlewild) (JFK / KJFK)
USA - New York, September 28, 2007
Remark
Photographer
N626VA (cn 2830) Virgin America has really revolutionised the way to fly domestically in the USA. No wonder there was so much protest by other airlines about the legality of them getting clearence from the DOT. I mean come one, any competitor would be scared or a rival with an interior like this. This flight of mine from SFO to JFK was flown by Capt. Dan Brook and Mark Bohney. Our landing into JFK was piloted by Mark Bohney. I love Virgin america, the service was excellent the IFE was great and the staff was spot on. What a truly great way to fly. Taken with the Canon 400D along wiht the Sigma 8mm Fisheye.

N626VA (cn 2830) First view of VX (cockpit shot) on this website. I had never seen the LCD screens on either side showing the airport map in an A320 before. Its strange, but all the flight deck shots i have seem to be from Airbus's! This flight from SFO was flown by my friend Mark Bohney, i dedicate this picture to him for getting his "captain" status a few days ago. Good going Mark, and i hope to fly with you again very very soon. I almost missed my Etihad connection to AUH because i was "chillin" with the pilots after we touched down at JFK. I love VX and as i mentioned earlier, it has revolutionized domestic travel in the United States.[Canon 400D+Sigma 8mm Fisheye]

TC-JGE (cn 29789/1065) What a scary sight. This TK Boeing 737-800 crash landed on the morning of the 25th on short finals to RWY 18R (polderbaan). The radome cover is totally ripped off. (Canon 50D + Canon 100-400L)

Remark

VT-JEA (cn 35157/627) This is what i was looking forward to the most at BOM this visit! The new Jet Airways Boeing 773ER! That 9W ATR and Kingfisher ATR look so miniscule and insignificant infront of the big beast! Doesnt it look like those fan blades are waiting to chop something up? Simply no match to the propeller blades of the ATR's. Thanks to Phil for the edit and to the pilot of the 9W 777 who graciously waved to us when he saw us eagrely clicking away. Oh how i miss BOM! Thanks to Yash, Birendra, Sean and Saurabh.

Remark
Photographer
PH-BFG / FG-003 (cn 24517/782) After our flight from Delhi to Amsterdam, the Captain and First Officer were kind enough to invite me up to the flight deck and on my way out, i managed to catch a shot of the Upper Deck Business class cabin on this beautiful KLM 747. It somehow doesnt look as appealing as some of the newer carriers J class cabins, but this was pretty decent. This girl named Guayaquil, had her first flight on the 23rd of March 1990 and was delivered to KLM on the 11th of April the same year!(Canon 400D with 8mm Sigma F3.5 Fisheye Lens)

A6-EHA (cn 748) This was one of my most memorable flights ever, the service from JFK to AUH was spot on. The EY cabin is brilliant and offers levels of privacy impossible on other J class configs. Currently flying over the Atlantic Ocean this flight was diverted due to heavy fog in AUH. Check out the fantastic mood lighting in the J class cabin! (Canon 400D + Sigma 8mm fisheye)

Gulfstream Aerospace G-IV Gulfstream IV-SP
Chandigarh (IXC / VICG)
India, January 4, 2008
Remark
Photographer
VT-PLL (cn 1254) Here is a 8mm view of the extra luxurious bird who was ferrying the Indian Union Civil Aviation Minister to Chandigarh, my home town, for the signing of the MOU for the new Chandigarh International Airport. The first officer and Captain of this beauty were really cool guys! The Captain turned out to be one of my friends uncles :) So that was cool! This GIV has such a magnificent cockpit! Its difficult to get into the pilots seats, but, once you in them, you have ample space. First few pictures of Chandigarh (VICG) in the airliners.net database. [Canon 400D + Sigma 8mm fisheye] Thanks Phil from EDDL for the RAW edit! Also, the lit up terminal infront is all the space Chandigarh's airport has!

Remark
Photographer
VT-IWB (cn 362) This is what the view looks like from the cockpit when your speeding over land at FL 390 or 39000 feet. There is just a sea of emptiness except for the occasional aircraft flying across or along with you. Since we are flying in a north easterly direction, we encountered lots of traffic crossing us from the west heading the east. The most beautiful one was the CX 744F Silverbullet. Optimum cruise altitude as shown by this beautiful piece of technology was FL 410, but we were denied clearence from 390 up to 410. (Canon 50D + Sigma 8mm Fisheye)

Remark

G-VNAP (cn 622) This is the first time i have seen the VS 346 in BOM, usually (99%) its the 343 which runs on this route. But they sent the 346 because the earlier flight got cancelled and had to accomodate those stranded passengers. The following day when i was flying to DEL from BOM i saw the big beauty land right infront of me. Thanks to Phil from EDDL photography for the edit!

VT-INF (cn 2990) What a beautiful flight deck, I love the Airbus flight decks, they just look so clean and nice! Thanks to G. Sidhu for the photo oppertunity and to Phil from EDDL photography for the editing. Also notice to "om" written in Hindi for good blessings. All new planes coming to India go through a "Pooja" or ritual where they are "blessed".

TC-JGE (cn 29789/1065) The two engines off the TK B737 which crashed on finals in AMS on 25.02.2009. Both preacriously placed far from each other. Imagine the impact which is strong enough to throw these heavy powerplants so far from the plane and from each other. Surprisingly, the fans looks more or less alright. (Canon 50D + Canon 100-400 L)
