The only time I visited the old Heliport at Forus, situated close to the main road E-18 (shown by a car behind), east of the Airport Sola (SVG/ENZV). HS had its operating base at Forus before the new Heli-terminal was built at Sola. |

August 1988 saw the African leeders in OAU meeting in Oslo, so this colorful and rare bird is waiting outside the small buildings that served as military and VIP terminal, originally domestic terminal from the late´40s until 1964. |

LN-PAA (cn 56) Built as CV-340 N73128 in 1953, cvtd to CV-580 1960. To LN-PAA 15.05.1986 ex C-GKFT. This ill-fated a/c was operated by Partnair (PD) until the tragic accident 08.091989. During a charter flight from FBU to HAM, she crashed into Skagerak north of Hirtshals, Denmark. All 55 people on board were killed. A year later, Partnair had closed its operations. |
