SX-OAC (cn 21683/387) The staircase leading to the Upper Deck bears signs of age. It once lead passengers to the Executive class. Now, it leads us and some technicians to the Upper Deck. |

Two minutes after takeoff, we are flying parallel to the west coast of Attica. I got the chance to shoot the old Athens airport from above, including a part of Athens. The retired 747s are visible on the west apron. The 'park' before the threshold of 33R is the golf court of Glyfada. |

SX-OAC (cn 21683/387) The Upper Deck of Olympic's 747s seat 16 Business class passengers. The texture on the back wall shows that this is an ex Singapore Airlines aircraft. Even with 28mm, I couldn't squeeze all the seats in. |

SX-OAC (cn 21683/387) The B-section Economy class of the Olympic 747. The seats in Economy class are either yellow-brown or blue, according to the section. From this point the huge size of the 747 cabin can be seen. |

SX-OAC (cn 21683/387) The first thing I wanted to shoot when I entered the aircraft was the A-section. Although the cabin was dark because the windows were closed, I was allowed to turn on the lights that created this green cast in all my cabin pics. The wooden stairs were probably used for repairs. |

SX-OAE (cn 21935/399) An aircraft bought from Singapore Airlines. Anyone that has flown on a Singapore 742 will remember the 8-window upper deck and the oriental textured back wall. Upper Deck Executive shot. |

The departures level. Some check-in counters can be seen. Maybe not one of the busiest days. The image has changed since the first days of operation when due to various problems this area was full. |

SX-OAC (cn 21683/387) A view of the Upper Deck from the back. If I am not mistaken, unlike Olympic, many airlines have their Upper Deck galleys in the back. |
