C6-LEE This Aztec Lost Power after departing Nassau International Airport and crashed in the bushes near compass point approximatly 3800 feet (1166 meters) short of the runway 14 earlier this month. This is just one of five accidents in the Bahamas this year. It crashed only 2900 feet (888 meters) away from the Islander which also suffered engine problems. The Bahamian CAA is looking into the cause of both crashes. |
