3270 The Yale in the foreground was rescued from the infamous Ernie Simmons collection! The Yale in the background was James Cagney's Yale for the movie "Captains Of The Clouds". The movie was made for the RCAF to promote the enlistment of qualified civilian pilots (as flight instructors) into the Commonwealth Air Training Plan. Billy Bishop, the Canadian WW I ace also stars in the movie, as himself. |

C-GFGD (cn 17275680) TSB investigators positioned the Cessna engine cowling in front of the fire damaged, and sheered off right wing of the the Brampton Flying Club Cessna 172. Presently, investigators believe the "decimated" area is where the two planes came together. Rare mid-air Cessna collision over Caledon, Ontario...three people died. |

NA337 / 2P-X Work continues on Canada's Halifax bomber at the RCAF Museum. Hard to believe this bomber was once 750 ft underwater, in Norway, for over 50 years! The orange "prickles" on the engine's exhaust manifold are flame baffles. This bomber has four engines but only two such baffles, each located on the outside engines. |

NA337 / 2P-X Out of 37,000 Halifax missions flown in WWII, 29,000 were flown by Canadian flight crews. Out of over 6,000 Halifax's built, here is the only complete Halifax, still in existence, in Canada and in fact, North America. In 1942, Halifax's were the first bombers to bomb Germany in WWII. |
