VH-USI (cn 172S10252) This Parafield-based, 2006 Skyhawk SP flew in and out of Broken Hill on a navex, by the look of it. It was originally registered to Cessna as N6065N, probably a trade-plate. It was re-registered, new, as VH-USI on 27 October 2006. |

VH-RSM / WB710 (cn C1/0245) This former RAF Chippie, WB710, was de-mobbed in January 1951 and according to some sources went to the Sri Lankan Air Force. In any case it went to Ireland as EI-AJB in 1956 before coming to Australia in 1958 where it became VH-RSM(2) with the Royal Aero Club of NSW. Later re-registered VH-WMT, then VH-WMG. It was restored and re-registered VH-RSM(4) in 1987. Currently residing at Luskintyre and seen here at the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's Chippie Rally. |

Navarre is located in central western Victoria, between Stawell and St Arnaud. The strip is located just to the south of the town, and this shot is looking more-or-less south. |

19-1418 (cn 002) This is the second Boorabee made and it was registered with the RAAus on Armistice Day 1993. It's actually incorrectly marked as it should be showing the 19- prefix. Seen here at the Queensland International Airshow. |

VH-WFM (cn B.628) This Terrier belongs to the President of the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia and attended the Association's Auster Rally at Broken Hill. The last 'true' Auster, the Beagle Terrier was a civil conversion from the military Auster AOP.6. Only 45 Terrier 2s were built, 64 Terriers in all, so this is a fairly rare aircraft. |

In case you're wondering, in the background are Airservices Australia's HF communications antennas - HF still being important for aviation in outback Australia. |

VH-DEV (cn D-8532) This Bonanza belongs to some very nice people who live on Culpaulin Station, near Wilcannia, NSW, about 90 miles east of Broken Hill. I guess this is their family runabout! The aircraft was registered new in Australia on 13 October 1967. |
