Whilst in San Francisco I was privileged enough to be invited on a 2 hour flight over San Francisco and the surrounds, on board a Cessna 172 (N6242F) Thanks to Tim (Diamond Aviation) and Todd (Tawny Aviation) from San Carlos Airport. Here we flew over San Francisco International Airport, and clearly seen are various airlines, including British Airways, Virgin America, Virgin Atlantic, United, American, US Airways, Air Canada, Air France and more. It was a perfect day for the flight too. Cheers guys. |

The former airliners on display include the Boeing 707 'City of Canberra' VH-XBA; Boeing 747-238B 'City of Bunbury' VH-EBA & the old C47 'QANTAS empire Airways' VH-EAP. QANTAS, founded in Winton in 1920, moved its head office to Longreach in 1921 & served till 1930. |

VH-VXN (cn 33484/1180) Wow, what a beautiful sunset... I was on the same side of town and thought I'd check out what was about at Adelaide International Airport (YPAD). I saw that there were some nice clouds coming down from the north and a break at the horizon where the sun could break through and light the base of the clouds as the sun would set.
