Remark
Photographer
VT-EPF (cn 049) This bird was originally delivered in May 1989, featuring a C20Y126 configuration. There was something special about flying these double bogey A320s. Seen here resting at DEL, after serving out the last few years with Air India (after the merger of IA)

India - Navy
Westland WS-61 Sea King Mk42
Off-Airport - Bangalore
India, May 2014
Remark
Photographer
IN504 (cn WA736) Every museum has a surprise exhibit. The Sea King never had any connection with HAL, never having been upgraded or manufactured or overhauled with HAL. Hence the presence of IN-504 from the very first lot of Sea Kings acquired by the Indian Navy in 1970 is a surprise. The Sea King is on display at the back of the museum, in fact in a playground that is actually outside the premises of the museum.
