C-GGTS / 101 (cn 250) Aboard Transat 202 from Vancouver, we are continuing our decent towards London Gatwick. Take a peek at the different colours of the clouds as to the bottom left, you get more of the earthy colour with reflections off the ground. It was a magnificent view, and the turbulence was fun too of course ;) |

As the observant will notice, this engine is not infact running. Simply, the turbines are just blowing in the wind with my shutter open for 8 seconds and thus creating this curious effect. |

The view looking out towards Calgary's terminal building and it's three runways. You can see a little of the complex system the air traffic controllers use here - a challenging airport for the visual controller with all three runways intersecting. It was a great experience and all my thanks to the controllers at YYC. (1600 pixels wide) |
