N8859E / 410 (cn 20621/904) The sign message is almost appropriate for this scenario. Ex-Eastern and Pan Am. This photo was taken several hours after Hurricane Andrew devastated the southern part of Dade County. High winds at MIA blew this bird into the canal and it never flew again. It was scrapped in 1996 at MIA.

Remark

N8126N (cn 18277/107) Moments after sliding to a stop, the first passengers start sliding down the evacuation slide as fire rescue workers arrive on scene to assist. EA flight 274 was on a PBI-ATL-STL routing when the crew noticed a malfunction in the nose gear after takeoff from PBI. They diverted into MIA because of EA's extensive maintenance facilities. Capt. Wayne Nolan pilot in command. Another blast from the past as they say on the oldie radio stations.
