N922FR / 922 (cn 2012) From Gravelly Point Park... I've been holding on to this one for a while but it is probably my favorite of all my aviation photos. 35 second exposure as Frontier departs runway 1 and climbs over the docks as evident by the red nav light, the strobe, beacon, and the landing lights streaking through the frame. In the background you can see some Andrews AFB traffic on the left, and to the right, a little standing lenticular cloud is beginning to form. |

N279AA (cn 49295/1214) "Welcome to Washington DC where the local time is 2:43 PM. We ask that you stay seated while the Captain taxies what is left of our plane to the gate". The winds really picked up while this guy was on final and in the end it looked like the bottom dropped out which made for a hard landing and lots of smoke! Still a fine job of getting into to DCA though! |

N25CW Convective Sigmet just passed Jeffco now clobbering DEN in this photo... Looks like a bit of mammatus up there and if you look closely you can see part of a rainbow... Just walking around the ramp while my student is out dominating his checkride and proving to the FAA that he is indeed a pilot. |

N2459K Taking advantage of some great lighting while waiting around for my night flight to start. Probably one of the newest 172s around that does not have a G1000 glass cockpit. 2005 model with the Nav II package or as some call it, "the steam gauges". |

N124AB (cn G2020008) Nice looking experimental taxiing down Alpha to Runway Two Niner Right. The climb rate on this bird was amazing! I guess when your plane weighs nothing and you are powered by an IO-360, you turn into a rocket. |

N420AA (cn 49332/1307) We lost one of our air conditioning packs back at DFW so we were then limited to a cruise altitude of 22,000' on our way to Denver. Captain did a great job of picking his way through this Convective Sigmet and gave me a great view of the clouds building below just east of Colorado Springs. |
