Myself and fellow a.net photographer Matt Duna spent two nights here sampling the local culture and what an incredible two nights it was. Sun, sea, beer, aviation, food, culture, photography, new people and friends, definately a highlight of the past few years! XZ589 / E (cn WA855) A splash of colour on a dull day. Conducting a mock rescue on Whitby beach. The chopper circled the yorkshire town a few times and made a descent to the edge of a cliff where a winchman was dropped and pulled up a dummy. It then made a circle and landed on the beach to drop off the dummy, where it departed again and made a fly-past. [Canon EOS 400D] |
