9N-ACA (cn 23850/142) "Karnali" inbound as RA 205 from Kathmandu. Of all the 7 days I spent spotting in DEL, my greatest nemesis (besides heavy security & the killer heat) was the visibility factor (haze) but, this day as me & Sushank left to spot, it started to thunder & heavy winds started to billow - The Great Indian Monsoon had finally reached Northern India, i cant explain how glad we were, by the time we reached it had started to drizzle lightly ......... MMmmmmhh Shangri-La............. |

VT-ALH (cn 36307/805) Ruled by Emperors, fought for by Great Kings & Warlords, occupied by the British. From Mountain Ranges, to rivers, forests, wildlife, fertile plains & urbania home to 96 million+ industrious men & women. VT-JWD (cn 751) Gulf Air Flight GF 57 to Bahrain (BAH) operated today by their leased A332 from Jet Airways, and the only indication of that (besides it taxing out at BOM at this time in the morning) is that small little sticker/decal on the front door on both sides, GF having a fleet of exclusively Trent powered A332's have leased both of 9W's only 2 Rolls-Royce equipped A330's VT-JWD & JWE rest all 9W 332's have GE powerplants. |

VT-VJP (cn 946) Billed as the best A332 ever built by Airbus, operating for one of only 6 Airlines in the world with a 5 Star Rating. This is Kingfisher Airlines Flight IT 007 heading to the land of 007 as her all-Boeing competition - BA, 9W & VS (right of the picture) watch her take the lead in the race to Heathrow. I'm normally a sucker for Rolls-Royce Trent but, her Pratt & Whitney's distinctive whistling sound is quite riveting. Photo dedicated to my dear friend Karan Bindra who turned 24 TODAY - Happy Birthday Mate !! |

Words fail me when asked to describe RGIA, What an architectural masterpiece this place is. Unarguably India's best designed & maintained airport, lush greenery everywhere, huge open spaces both inside & out and the surreal feeling of freedom & peace that you feel here is Extraordinary !!!! |
