C-FCRA / 741 (cn 20801/225) CP Air's first 747 diverted due to fog. In the days of major pulp mills on the Southern BC coast aiding fog formation and before CAT III approaches, closure of Vancouver International airport due to weather was more common. CP Air would organize a near by "Abbotsford operation" to run many of their flights. The "Empress of Japan" would later go to Pakistan International Airlines in a deal that saw CP's 747-217s traded for PIA's DC-10-30s.

81-0747 / HL (cn 61-428) 421 TFW Black Widows visiting the Abbotsford Air Show. On April 27, 1986, this Falcon crashed onto the Utah Test and Training Range after an engine stall. Thankfully, the pilot ejected safely.

11311 (cn 4005) Delivered to the Canadian Army as Voyageur 10411 in December 1971. Converted to Labrador SAR configuration in 1975 and would get the latest the SARCUP (Search and Rescue Capability Update Program) modifications during October 1982. Unfortunately, the helicopter was written off April 30, 1992 during a rescue operation. An engine failed while hoisting stranded hikers at high altitude and it crashed in the mountains at the 5,000 ft level.

154172 (cn 13629) USMC Captain Mark Bircher's Skyhawk usually carried the number 2, but on this day it sat out the show with the number removed. 154217 was flown for the show in it's place. This was the last year the Blue Angels flew Skyhawks.
