D4-CBG (cn 27599/696) Sal Island airport ramp overview as seen from the 752 from TACV making it's way to the holding point of the Rwy 01. Only a ATR (that arrived few minutes earlier ) from TACV is clearly visible. This airport located half way between Europe and South America, on the West coast of Africa is used very often as a re-fuel stop to many aircrafts, bringing to it, several interesting aircrafts making this airport the best place to "hunt down" rare exotic birds...with luck[EOS300D+Sigma18-50@18mm, 1/640 f5 ISO100] |

D4-CBE (cn 382) Spotting in Africa isn't as easy as it should. Those of you that already did it know what I mean, which is really a pity as so many interesting aircrafts can be seen around. This ATR from Cape Verde National Airline ( a small archipelago on the west coast of Africa) is completing another small flight linking two islands, playing an important role by carrying people and goods from island to island. A million thanks to Cleidir for helping me moving around and looking for the best possible photo locations. |
