You can see that there is a lot of weekendtraffic going on. Even the three gliderstrips south of the concrete runway are active. Not much gliders on ground because they are all around me on this great day! Lets call EDMA the german home of Beechcraft because the most bigger hangars next to the runway are used by them for maintanance. D-4662 "BB" is taking me to Donauwörth here. Even if the Aircraft is no the newest, it was build in the 80's, there are a couple of nice instruments. We have a LX5000 with a build in GPS logger and it is showing us that we are aboud 5km NW of Augsburg airport. The aircraft is loosing height and we expect 1 m/s thermal in front of us. BB is also equiped with a FLARM collision warning system wich is GPS based and should be build in in every GA aircraft if you ask me! Matthias Pietsch - Flaps30 Contact Link to me! Good old ASK-13. Generations of pilots, including me, learned to fly on D-3746. This one is called "Buale" in memory of a Fritz Hübsch. He still holds the record for the longest aerotow in history.
